Web and hosting

Websites built for your business, not stamped from a template.

A site should look designed, load quickly, and make the next step obvious. We build it, host it, and keep it current, so it does not quietly go stale six months after launch.

01 / The difference

A template makes you fit the site. We do it the other way round.

Template sites are quick, and they look it. Everyone in your industry bought the same one, the parts you need are bolted on, and the parts you do not need slow it down. A custom build starts from what your customers actually come to you for.

A theme chosen from a gallery

A layout built around your services

Plugins stacked on to fill the gaps

Only the code the site actually needs

Looks like three competitors

Looks like you, and matches your signs

You are on your own after launch

Hosted and maintained by the people who built it

02 / What we build

Three kinds of web project.

New site

Custom website design

Designed from your services, your customers and your brand, then built to load fast and read clearly on a phone. Every page has a job and a next step.

Rebuild

Website rebuilds

If your site is dated, slow, or impossible to update, a rebuild keeps what is working, fixes what is not, and carries your brand forward. We can take over a site someone else built.

Campaign

Landing pages and conversion focused design

A single page built for one offer, one audience and one action. Useful when you are running a promotion, a new service line, or an ad campaign that deserves better than your home page.

03 / Found by search

Search ready from the first line of markup.

Being found is mostly craft, not tricks. We build the structure search engines read, then write pages that answer what people actually typed.

  • Clean, semantic markup and one clear heading structure per page
  • Unique titles and descriptions written for humans first
  • Fast pages, because speed is part of ranking and all of patience
  • Local relevance where it genuinely helps, never keyword stuffing
  • Structured data describing the business accurately

04 / After launch

Hosting and support, handled here.

Most small business sites break slowly. A plugin lapses, a form stops sending, a certificate expires. We host what we build and keep an eye on it, so that stops being your problem.

Hosting
We host the sites we build, so there is one number to call when something needs attention.
Maintenance and support
Updates, fixes and small changes handled by the studio that built the site.
Content changes
New staff photo, changed hours, another service. Send it over and it gets done properly.
One point of contact
The same people handle the site, the signage and the systems, so nothing falls between vendors.

Questions

Website questions we get asked.

Do you build custom sites, or use templates?

Custom. The design starts from your business rather than from a theme you picked off a gallery page, which is why two Design Bridge sites do not look alike.

Can you rebuild or take over a site someone else made?

Yes. Rebuilds are a large part of what we do. We keep what is working, replace what is not, and carry your existing brand forward rather than starting your identity from scratch.

Do you host the sites you build?

Yes. We host what we build so there is a single place to go when something needs attention. Tell us what you are running now and we will explain how a move would work.

Who looks after the site after it launches?

We do. Updates, fixes and content changes are handled by the same studio that built it, so nobody has to relearn your site before touching it.

What does a website cost?

It depends on how many pages you need and whether anything is being built behind them, so there is no useful list price. Tell us what you are trying to do and you will get a real number rather than a range.

Talk through your website.

Send a short note about the site you have, or the one you need. We will tell you honestly what is worth doing.
